I've made a few tests of the current status of the new TeXmacs interface,
and I am very much impressed. Most frequently-used kinds of expressions,
and also matrices, are displayed excellently.
A few comments (for further improvements):
1. The message "Type: ..." is displayed on the same line as the resulting
expression. There should be a way to insert a newline immediately after
the expression. Also, probably, this kind of messages (and all other
KeyedMsg) should be in some different colour.
2. Indefinite integrals which cannot be evaluated, such as
integrate(x^x,x), are displayed nicely. Sums are not, try sum(1/n,n).
3. Derivatives: the sequence
f:='f
D(f(x),x)
does not produce the desired output
4. When fricas wants to return "failed", it looks like
<mtext>"failed"</mtext>
But the progress is very impressive.
