What happens if you run AXIOMsys directly, like:
(export AXIOM=/path/to/fricas; $AXIOM/bin/AXIOMsys)
If I run FriCAS this way Control-C works for me even if I use
newest sbcl. Of course, if this works it is not a solution,
but should help to localize the problem.
