My laptop doesn't interrupt this command.
Ubuntu Maverick with SBCL 1.0.40.0.debian, 32 bit machine.
Fricas trunk@1090

On Debian 5, with SBCL 1.0.18.debian, 64bit, trunk@1085. Ctrl-C works as expected.
