Maybe Waldek corrects me, but to my knowledge constants are not possible.

0 and 1 are in some sense special.

I'd be happy if SPAD could deal with constants in the same way as with nullary functions, but would distinguish them.

If course, if we were in a pure functional world, a distinction would only be cosmetic. But nullary functions can have side effects. Constants cannot.
