can someone do me a favour and do
svn update -r 1177 # That's the version where I claimed having
# fixed the aldor-interface
./configure --enable-aldor --enable-gmp
make
Fricas should compile just fine, but the aldor-interface will stop with
a message like:

#1 (Error) Argument 1 of `Matrix' did not match any possible parameter type.
The rejected type is Join(SemiRng, AbelianMonoid) with .
Expected type Ring.
... more such lines deleted ...

The reason most probably is that axextend.as contains a line
extend Matrix(R: Ring): with {
I'm currently checking, but it would still be good if someone could
confirm that building libaxiom.al is still broken in trunk.
