I don't understand this. Mathaction (axiom-wiki) runs on Zwiki which was
installed on top of plone. Plone *is* the portal. (Bill, I hope that I'm
not wrong.)

Can I conclude from your sentence that you installed Zwiki right on top
of Zope? Without Plone?

The portal doesn't run but mathaction works. Unbelievable.

To which version of plone did you upgrade? Can you send me buildout.cfg
(in fact all the .cfg files)?

Better than nothing, but there was a bit more information to each
article. At least for the things that I added, I included the origin and
the author of the article in the description.

Well the portal was static for two reasons. 1) one needs an account to
do something there and 2) nobody actually used it except Bill and me.
Plone is a CMS, so there is no reason to say it's static.

If you mean static in the sense that it cannot run fricas, I believe
that is a technical detail. In the VM that we got from Bill, mathaction
runs on top of zwiki and zwiki inside plone. It's only a question of
knowing how to program new page types in plone that would make running
fricas inside vanilla plone possible. The problem is that I don't know
someone who would do this.

Waldek, may I ask what the most important feature is for you that you
want to run mathaction (axiom-wiki)?

Ralf
