Am I doing something wrong? I've downloaded the 32bit binary version. Extracted in into /home/me, added /home/me/usr/local/bin to my PATH variable in .bashrc, edited /usr/local/lib inside fricas and efricas to /home/me/usr/local/lib.
The fricas script starts nicely, while efricas brings up emacs but inside emacs it says: Process fricas exited abnormally with code 1. I've even exported AXIOM inside the efricas script. After ln -s /home/me/usr/local/lib/fricas /usr/local/lib efricas starts OK. Any idea? That's on Ubuntu 12.10.
