I don't know what your view of having more of these finite structures in
FriCAS is? I suspect most people here are more interested in fields and
rings and that sort of thing?
My view on this is that it makes sense to first write a separate package
outside of FriCAS. I do this with my QEta package.

It is a very specialized thing where maybe parts of it could go into
FriCAS. While developing it, I sometimes had to change the interface of
functions, replace some domains by others, refactor, extend etc. I
think, I am much more flexible to do this outside of FriCAS and testing
is also an issue.
Actually, I would be happy, if on the FriCAS homepage we can list many
other such packages. Yes, users would have to compile those packages,
but that shouldn't be a big issue.
