We really love organic almonds and eat a lot of them, but at $9.95 per pound (Wild Oats or Lisa's) I'm getting a little fed up. The CoOp in Sacramento is $7.95 and Mountain Peoples' is $6-7 usually.
I just called a grower in Paso Robles I used to buy from and he will sell us organic Nonpareils for $3 per pound. He has ~250 pounds left and when they're gone, no more 'till next Fall.
