Wow! I got it working. I am running xwindows on my P100 laptop with 32 MB of ram.
I got networking going then zipped all the distribution files to one big archive, then ftp'd it from my win 2k box to the laptop. Unzip, load packages, configure x windows, and boom! Now we'll see if I can get any apps to run! Thanks for all the input. I'll bring it with me to the installfest...
