I happened across this tip on Slashdot the other day and it is
too good not to share. Perhaps you (as I) have run across a
well-known rendering bug in Mozilla. It is tripped regularly by
certain pages on Slashdot.
It affects the current Firefox as well.
Create a bookmarklet with this Javascript link (all on one line)
in it and put it on your toolbar. Then you can just click it to
clean up the rendering of a page:
