How do I make my Fedora Core 3 box actually keep a static IP? I use the
netconfig tool...I use the graphical tool in KDE...it doesn't matter.
It holds the static IP for a while and then suddenly switches to an
automatic DHCP-assigned one. This is very annoying. What in the heck
can I do to assign it a static and have it actually use it (heaven forbid)?
FYI...my *Gentoo* box has no problem with this...
