Hey Guys, This is Steven Chau if you don't remember who I am. I am the leader organizing the workshops for the Truman public through ACM. We are planning to teach multiple workshops such as Unix, html, etc to the the Truman community and we need your help. As of last week, we have narrowed down topics for the workshop. The first topic for discussion is "Computer Care". Topics for discussion will be related to spyware, antivirus, firewall, updating operating systems, and basic internet security. The first workshop will be held the week after homecoming. The specific date has yet to be determined but the class will max be 90 minutes long. What I ask of you guys is this, can you send this email out to the mailing lists. I can't get it to work with my email address. We are looking for content on the topics of spyware, antivirus, firewall, updating, and basically how to take care of a computer. If your members could send a short page of how-tos to [EMAIL PROTECTED] by Oct. 15th. It would be very helpful. If this email is too long or not specific enough, please send me an email back. I can rewrite another one if need be.
