IMHO, Linux Mint is the best out there - it's basically ubuntu + less
headache. If you want, you can also install the Netbook Remix
interface add-on (http://www.canonical.com/netbooks) and you're good
to go - no worries about non-playable file formats, no nothing. Should
be sweet.
