I know I've mentioned a few times that I really like git for version control
(as opposed to cvs or subversion). Finally some books on git are starting
to come out. One of them is published by O'Reilly, "Version Control With
Git". It's in Safari, so you can read it online from any University address
(or using the Truman proxy server).

It's probably helpful to have used some version control system before you
read this book. It's relatively advanced, so knowing the basic concepts
would be a good idea, but you can probably get by if you haven't as long as
you're willing to read carefully (or use Google when you are confused).
