To be honest, you'll find consumer groups in general are pretty au fait with the problems DRM causes, and the solutions. At the recent APIG enquiry, it was the consumer groups - not the digital cognoscenti - who were most eloquent in their opposition to these technologies. DRM isn't something you need to go into technical terms over. People who don't understand the tech. can readily understand the problems when explained.
