Hi Vladimir/Fuel-Dev, While analyzing the error message, I got some information from the below link https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1317966
From this link, I understood that first disk should have minimum size of 50GB (should not be <=15GB). Now the problematic node has 4 partitions (used ‘lsblk’ command) with first disk contains only 8M size– Sda – 8M Sdb – 1M Sdc – 136.7G Sdd – 558.9G If I remove all these 4 partitions and set only one partition ‘sda with 695G’, will it overcome the issue which we are currently facing? Kindly confirm on this, so that I will proceed in setting up the partitions. The installation will proceed in non-automated mode. <Continue>” Kindly let me know whether is this a different issue and the steps to overcome from this issue? As a consequence it did not create vm volume group and nova logical volume. The way how you can fix it is to build debian-installer miniroot with those drivers which suppord your hardware. But there is the patch for it in stable/5.0 branch: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/96774/ You can login into docker container by using dockerctl shell cobbler, download it, then apply it by issuing: patch -p6 -d /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/cobbler/ < file.patch after this you will need to reprovision your nodes. For some reason there were artifacts left from previous LVM volume groups. Could you please provide version of FUEL you are using?
