Most, if not all, components manage information internally as arrays or arrays of objects, therefore 0 is January as Kay points out.

I'm fighting with the Advanced Calendar Component from DRK2. I'm having one major issue with it - setDisplayedMonth *always* goes to the current month. This is the code I'm using:
eventCalendar.setDisplayedMonth(new Date(2003,0,1));
All the docs I can find seem to indicate that is correct. I've tried feeding it someDate.getMonth and just "0", but no dice. Any clues here?
