Only to the extent that they choose to stick themselves with them.  If
banks were to grow balls enough to start issuing RFPs specifying no
Microsoft operating systems, I'm sure there would be suppliers happy to
cooperate.

Microsoft would pitch a fit, most likely, but there's an adage about
shoes that fit...which applies equally well to Microsoft pitching a fit
about people pointing out how insecure the Emperor's clothes are and to
banks who capitulate to such fit-pitching.
