Sorry for the cock-up. I thought I had messed up by not replying to all when only one name showed in the TO. To the issue of why discussions about firearms are polarizing, it's pretty simple: The banners see my ownership of them as a threat to all mankind, and I see their desire to ban them as leaving me defenseless against thugs, either in or out of government. What the banners don't get is that you can't ban guns. You can just prevent law abiding citizens from having them. The technology is well understood, and they are widely manufactured and available for military and police force reasons, and thus readily available to criminals. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
