Exactly. It seems very likely that (once again) the earliest and most prolific adopters are likely to be abusers and scammers. I'm sure they applauded this latest bonehead move by ICANN and are already gearing up to take advantage of it. I'm equally sure that all the registrars will be quite happy to make the cash registers go ka-ching without performing even the slightest due diligence.
