Bang on. As I read through the "ClimateGate" stuff I kept looking for evidence to support what they were saying, and could only find the same deliberate misinterpretation of what was being said. (With over 60 megs of files and email it would be a dead cinch to "prove" anything you wanted, including secret cabals to take over the world, contaminate the world's poutine supply, or create a new religion based on child porn.) (I'm exaggerating, of course. Everyone knows it is impossible to contaminate poutine.) I looked further on the "Examiner" site, and every link seemed to increase the evidence that this is group of people, with no particular background or skills, trying to promote themselves by collecting random "information" about hot or controversial topics. ====================== (quote inserted randomly by Pegasus Mailer) [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] You may not have the bandwidth for this, but wouldn't it be a value-add if going forward, we could push the envelope and, as a deliverable, have a vision to think outside the box and leverage our core competencies to create some negative growth in the use of hackneyed business lingo? - Mark Sutcliffe, Sun, 20060905 victoria.tc.ca/techrev/rms.htm blog.isc2.org/isc2_blog/slade/index.html http://blogs.securiteam.com/index.php/archives/author/p1/ http://twitter.com/NoticeBored http://twitter.com/rslade _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
