I'm guess I didn't explain my question properly. What I meant was are you
using CFSET or CFPARAM on the form action page?


Why?
If your form action page is loaded and it contains <CFPARAM name="FORM.foo"
default="bar"> ), your CF debugging info will show the form fields and
values ( FOO=bar ) whether or not the form was posted, but the FIELDNAMES
field would only be displayed if the form was actually posted.
