the screen? Tell ya what, NTSC video pulled from VGA, even at the bare
640x480, looks *bad*. You can't read any of the text unless its giant.
PowerPoint presentations don't look too bad if the graphics are large and
simplistic. Code snips and other "text" stuff, however, is unreadable.
One idea, since I'm just gonna pack my camcorder and a tripod (hopefully),
is if your presentation projector has a "Video Out", somebody there in
C'Ville could bring along a VCR and record the entire output, plus a
microphone feed into the "Audio In" on the recording VCR, so as to allow for
the re-syncing of voice to video later on.
Now that brings me up to a nice point. I'll provide the camera to record
live stuff, and I'll be happy to do the post-production work, but will
somebody there locally be able to supply a tripod and a VCR (preferably an
S-VHS, but VHS is fine) for recording the presentation video output?
This presumes that there will be a video signal available for VCR'ing, and
an audio signal from the presenter's microphone.
