Hi Hal. I really really like fusebox, and we use it exclusively for CF
dev't. One problem I have had recently is doing those stupid in page
targets. We recently completed a site - http://www.deliverU.com and some of
the menus are rather lengthy. I would like to be able to set up targets in
the menu and have the categories at the top of the menu that jump to the
category targets in the page. Unfortunately we had to implement it with
frames too, so that complicates everything a bit. (we hate frames)
If anyone has any suggestions, I would grealty appreciate it. Oh, yeah,
suggestions besides, breaking up the menu into seperate pages - the
consensus of the group is to try and avoid as many different page loads, and
mouse clicks as possible. Besides it just makes things difficult in the
back end if we break it up. If we don't get a solution though, I guess
we'll have to do that (ver 2.0).
By the way, it is a pretty complex site (LOTS on the backend - interactivity
with fax servers, pagers, etc...) and we're proud of it, and very happy that
Cold Fusion and Fusebox made it possible.
Thanks.
