You must be joking.
Dude, Allaire ain't going nowhere. They can handle a $30M net quarterly loss.
And frankly, compared to the losses that most dot-coms rack up, that one is pretty
small.
(by the way, this is really a discussion for the CF-Community list, so I've
cross-posted there should anyone like to continue this discussion)
Regarding how CF compares to any other development platform, after nearly 4 years of
development, no one I know of has ever bench marked two identical applications on
different development platforms with each other. So to just broadly say that ANY
platform out performs ANY other would be a rather silly statement without some sort of
proof.
