>From my experience you cannot use Custom Tags in CF Express, but you can use
CFINCLUDE. So if you rework the various Fusebox custom tags and CFINCLUDE
them in the templates where you need them, you can create Fusebox
applications with CF Express. The challenge is since everything is
CFINCLUDEd you need to be very careful about variable names since all
variables are present in the calling template.

With its other limitations I haven't found CF Express to be worth the time
in rewriting Custom Tags.

An idea I have is to create a killer Web app with Linux (FREE), Apache
(FREE), PHP (FREE), and MySQL (FREE) running on a 486 machine (CHEAP) and
then sell the box to every home in the world for a modest amount of money.
Then I can remotely service the application from my island in the Pacific
with my only news being this Fusebox list. (....looking wistfully into
space...) But that's a separate dream.

Subject: CF Express, Fusebox, and Studio

First, is there a way to set up Studio specifically for CF Express? I want
to develop an app for CF Express and would like to have Studio only allow me
to use those tags and functions available for Express.

Second, Has anyone built a fusebox framework for Express? I don't want to
reinvent it if someone has.

Thanks,

Brad Roberts
