That is when you use msde and change the system dsn.

Stored Procedures are great, but it sure is nice to be
able to throw your site on another machine running a
different database without changing much code.  For
example, a couple weeks ago, I copied an entire site
to my laptop, exported the SQL7 db to Access, and
presented the site to our CFUG. Worked pretty damn good,
and took very little time.
