I dont think the name changei s recent they have had it at least
three years, as this is how long ago they were filing for trademarks.

I think the impotant thing is that they have spoken with a
lawyer and he said they dont have a chance.

This company is simply tyring to get this domain to drive up traffic to
their site and use what Fusebox.org has built in the last few years. I
think this is very evident from what they have done (their recent name
change, and this bogus fight for our domain name).

What we should do is sit back and wait for a letter from their lawyers. If
we want to start anything, one thing we could do, as mentioned before is
throw up a list on Fusebox.org to ask every member to add their names to the
petition and whether their company (the one which they represent) is willing
to put their names on the list as well... my guess is that we would have a
very daunting list that no New York company would want to fight. And we
definitely could get Allaire's support on this.

But like I said... you will probably never hear from their "lawyers". If
you do... tell me where to mail my cheque for the defense fund.

Hal spoke with a lawyer and they said Fusebox.com doesn't have any
grounds to stand on because we were not stealing business from them nor
did we put the site up in bad faith.

It's going to take a lot of research, and maybe even a legal fund to
fight this. I'm ready to put my own personal money into it, I just hope
it doesn't come to that.

no relation between a Trademark and a domain name. Best of luck.
