Hi! Just wanted to let you all know what was happening.
The Fusebox print book debuted at the Allaire Conference. It was very well
received and we got many kudos from that. It looks beautiful! Only a small
run of 1,000 books was ready in time for the conference; the remainder of
the first printing were done this week and are being shipped to our
fullfillment center. Also, the Fusebox poster, available to people who
ordered through Fusion Authority or Secret Agents (and will be advertised
soon on Fusion Authority), is also being shipped to our fullfillment center
today.
We will be working today and tomorrow to square away those people who
pre-ordered and picked the book up at the conference, and come up with a
master list of people to send to the fullfillment center. As soon as the
books arrive at our fullfillment center, and they've received the list of
people who have not received their books yet, the books will be shipped out.
In other words, you can expect the books to be shipping out beginning of
next week, and allow a few weeks for books to arrive (we are still dependent
on US snail mail for these things).
On other notes: we had an amazing Fusebox BOF at the conference, with Hal
Helms and Nat Papovich moderating. There were several people who gave
wonderful examples of how Fusebox had helped them in really tight
situations, and then there was discussion of how they had used the
methodology. Everything went really well. Standing room only, and some
people out the door.
Also, the book was well received there as well.
Steve and Craig could not be at the conference itself (job responsibilities)
but they were at CF_Scale and CF_Underground
