It's not the rules - many people subscribe to the digest to cut down
on the number of messages in our mailboxes... but too many people
on the list 'quote' way too much when replying... a while back I took
a couple of the digests and worked out that about 90% of the digest
was 'quoted messages'. Many times people will quote a complete
thread - headers and all - instead of the 2 or 3 lines they are
specifically responding to.
Some mailing lists are setup to reject messages which contain high
quote-to-content ratios - perhaps this list could do the same?
Come on folks - let's save a few electrons and only quote the
relevant portions of messages.
