We've created one in VB as well. It is by no means a one-stop-shop or
anything but I reduces the hours in the development phase tremendously.
Fusebox has lent a great hand in the creation of this compiler (set of
compilers) as the project output was lacking......well..... architecture.
The modeling is done in Access. VB can extract the db properties and from
there create the docs. Most of Oracle's datatypes convert to jet nicely
enough, giving the ability to create the docs directly from Oracle. Hey, it
works for me. And besides, if fusebox does catch on, you will know longer
have a compiler; you'll have a compiler that uses CF modules.
