On a server which handles multiple sites, or uses UUIDs in multiple places,
this should not be as much of a consern as you would not be able to easily
predict which app or table was going to get the next one.

Plus, since when was the predictability of a PK such a big deal?  This is a
fusebox list, a methodology which supports the use of incremented numbers as
PKs.
