The next release of CF is still the same code base, but the version after
that, code-named "neo", is Java-based. This means that the CF code is
written in Java. But to the CF coder, none of that will be apparent. However
it opens up some neat capabilities--both for the Allaire developers and for
any Java developers who are coding in CF (as all right thinking coders
should be!). JRun is for pure Java development. In short, unless you're a
Java developer or want to move in this direction, I'd stick with CF. The
nice thing is that if you develop Java skills, you'll be able to use these
with Neo.

Does any know what the difference is going to be between new next release of
CF and the current (JRun & JRun Studio)?
I'm hearing that CF5 will involve Java in some way. And the JRun products
also involve Java. Not clear on this.
I'm curious as to which products I need to invest my $$$$ in.
