Steve,

We just started building v2.0 of one of our clients site using the
technique. So far, it has made development 100x simpler to manage. We
basically carved the project into sub applications (fuses) and assigned then
to the various developers on the project. Once you get it working on one
fuse, everything is easy from there.

I'm curious to see how well this style of plug & play fusebox that Hal
has been developing works in real life.  Just about every application
i've ever worked on always needed some amount of knowledge of the
various other components.
Although, there are always a few sections that didn't need to know
anything about the other circuits in the application.
