Why not? Seems to me that if the reference implementation for CF 4.5 was on
Linux (I could be wrong about this, but I remember someone saying this was
the case) it should be relatively straight forward to port to OS X. It's
Free BSD and lots of people have ported other LINUX stuff to OS X without
too much trouble. It's not like you're going in there and stripping out all
the calls to MFC that they probably had to do to get from CF 4.0 to CF 4.5.
