I'm using studio 4.5.2 and VSS.
Projects work fine, except that i think CF projects in 4.5.x can't be read
by 4.0
Also, the right click 'Source Control' menu on the CF project only has the
top 2 options ('choose source control provider' and 'Map project to source
control') available - the others are greyed out, but this is only on the
actual .apf - on the files in the project then everything works fine.
And the menu options that are missing can be carried out manually through
VSS.
Once you've got the hang of configuring it all, and persuading your fellow
developers to use it, then it seems to work great. Sure there are some
annoying things, but once you get people to realise that unless they go
through VSS then any changes will be over-written then you're laughing
