George,

Good point, but where the performance hit for processing two fuseactions
is measured in milliseconds, hitting two different directory trees and
the necessary clicks are seconds and they add up. (The 1GHz upgrade
for my mouse hand is on the way.) I do keep VSS open for other tasks as
needed (integration does not include a Check In/Keep Checked Out option,
handy when you need to shadow a custom tag from your working dir.) But
for most common usage, Check In/Out, Get Latest Version, I feel like it
saves me a lot of time in the long run. Kind of like a Windows shortcut
or using the Quick Launch toolbar.

Also I do have the advantage that in my case there is only one other
developer working on my app, so I know who has it checked out if it's not
me. I might change my mind when our third developer starts.

Well,

In the spirit of fusebox, you are breaking your tasks into two different
fuseactions. One to edit code, one to insure version control. By keeping the

two apps seperate, I can tell not only if a file is checked out but by whom.

This way if I need it, I know who to hunt down.....
