Guys, let's not start a Fusebox war. Since I seem to be the one most guilty,
by making nasty remarks about FormURL2Attributes, I formally repent in dust
and ashes. (Actually, I have my clone doing it, but I've been assured this
is acceptable.)

The nested fuseboxes are part of an entire development philosophy that
begins with wireframes and ends with acceptance tests. You are free to use
all or any part you choose. To a large degree, we're talking about
aesthetics. Coming from an object-oriented world, the idea of inheritance
seems natural and desirable to me. Drag and drop circuits seems desirable.
Integrated exception handling seems desirable. I'm especially concerned with
the issues that arise from building large-scale applications in a
distributed team environment, so my methodology reflects my best efforts at
optimizing development for that environment.

Can you do insanely great work without XFB? Hell, yes! Do you need to use
eXit FuseActions or wireframes or DevNotes or Fusedocs or QuerySims? Hell,
no! Some people will find them helpful; others will see them as needless
fiddling with something that works fine already. I find XFB works well for
me, but I don't want to put down others who don't see the need for it.

I apologize for stirring up the pot.

Steve,

Same here... the whole XFB nesting thing strikes me as a beautiful mess that
solves a non-problem. Custom tags are a fundamental part of CF, and to me,
they have always seemed the cleanest, most natural way of calling another
'box.
