Stephen,
Personally I think we'll stick with 4.x since we use CF to run multiple
applications. I am curious though, how will ColdFusion be configured to
only run one web application through it and not multiple ones. Guess we'll
have to wait and see, at least those that choose to upgrade.

I mentioned this in the CFGURU list, and there are a few people
replying, but most are silent. Hopefully this is due to the wait
to see what Macromedia is really going to do. I have an enterprise
license with a 2 yr subscription for updates, and from what I am
seeing MAcromedia is attempting to break my (everyones) existing
contract where enterprise allows for hosting. Sure I can upgrade
to what they _call_ enterprise, but functionallity has been removed.
I see this as a breaking of a contract.
How do others feel? With this new license model, hosting of CF sites
will become very expensive, and will cause many to either stay at 4.x
or drop CF altogether. This does not seem like a very good long range
plan to me, booting out the very people that helped this product
become successful.
Yes, I am a trifle upset with this.
