Here's how I start my UD4/CF apps.

1) I define the 'site' in UD4. I create a local site (C:\UdWebs\xxx) and
then a remote site in
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\xxx.

2) I then create a new project in CF pointing to the same local site I
defined in UD4.
I keep both IDEs open on a project and this way any changes I make are kept
syncronized.

3) Before I test I 'syncronize' the local site ot the remote site in UD4.

4) I always create new pages first in the UD4 Site Manager and then open
them in CF and save to project there.

Note: This has worked well for 'normal' apps I've written but have yet to
try it out with a full-on Fusebox architecture project.

If you try it let me know how it works.

Hello there!

I'd like to know what recommendations/suggestions the list have on
developing apps using Macromedia's Ultradev.

It seems to me that using UD would be useful to just design each
component of the site (i.e. header, footer, bodies...). The whole app
would eventually need to be handled with CF Studio.

Hey, may be the guys at MM would like to hear about this (?).

Cheers,
