Yep... The registry is a bit slow, plus you can fill your registry up quite
quickly with client variable information.

Yep thats right, Noam's solution for preventing session hijacking can help
with your bookmark problem. It means that a user that bookmarks the site
and doesn't have cookies enabled will have to chose thier prefered language
everytime. You might want to look at user registration and a more permanent
method of store a users options.
