Depending on how you look at it, Cold Fusion isn't an 
enterprise-worthy solution -- at least not by itself.

ColdFusion is a front-end platform. In order for it
to be used in an n-tier solution, you would need to
have some other platform to fill in the middle.

J2EE on the other hand includes both the front-end 
(JSP) and the middleware (EBJ's, etc.), so it doesn't
have that "limitation."

That's cool, but I like CF better than JSP. I think 
the best solution is a CF front-end with J2EE 
middleware. Oh yeah, that's what that whole 
Livesoft purchase was about. And that's why CF 6.0
is going to be completely based on J2EE. :)

BTW, doesn't the term "enterprise solution" sort
of imply non-homogeneous components?
