I don't believe there is a workaround. As most users will have the browser
connection timeout set to 900 seconds at the max and most people won't be
able to adjust the setting (I think its a registry setting on Windows).
When the browser times out, game over. If you're working over an
Intranet/Lan, it might be possible presuming you can transfer the file
within the time limit. And note that other browsers might have a lower
setting. The only workaround that I can possible envision is some sort of
Java Applet that can FTP to your server.
