Netscape 6 is junk, IMHO.
We saw it use 50 MB of ram ( resource meter ) to render out some html files.
To give you an example of how crappy it *really* is, we have a legacy HTML
site which contains many animated gifs and some text. In Netscape 6, the
animated gifs render black until you select the portion of page containing
the gif. Therefore I would expect that your problem is not with your code,
but someone else's. ;-)
Though like Stuart says, make sure your html is complete and correct.
