Well, sure, whatever "endorsed by FuseBox" may mean ;-)

If you hadn't realised, I LIKE standards and conventions. In fact, I get in
trouble around this list for liking them TOO much. But I have pretty firm
ideas about what makes a standard worth adopting. There are many factors:
* Intrinsic value (highly subjective, of course);
* Elegance;
* Limitations;
* Learning curve;
* Back-out strategy;
* Popularity;
* Community
etc.

In most cases, provided that the convention is "sufficiently simple" and
"sufficiently powerful", I simply choose the most popular (or most widley
supported, which is not always the same thing).

But many around here don't share my views, particularly about the importance
of popularity and community when it comes time to choose a standard. They
believe in basing decisions upon intrinsic value without much reference to
community. Well, it's a point of view ;-)

See you,
LeeBB

 I didn't realize how controversial HN was, nor did I realize that
I felt so strongly about it ;) Anywho, would you use a different notation
scheme if it was endorsed by Fusebox?
