I'm not aware of any other documents

But It's strange, I'm relatively new to Fusebox, I found it slow going to
start with, but with me it all came together when I started using XFB. I
think the answer is don't try to understand how the cf_nesting tag works,
just use it. I found XFB was the best way of sub dividing a large app into a
number of manageable components each in there own directory.

Have you down loaded any of the sample apps from Hals page?

Are there any other resources on XFB apart from Hals 101 document? I think
we need a few more articles etc to clear things up for us newbies. I would
love to use xfB but it *seems* overly complex, i understand xfas but its the
bit with the nesting, circuits, myglobals, which always throws me. Can you
nest plain fusebox apps?

Thanks

Kola

Stacy,

Don't worry about it. Despite some of the cheerleading you'll encounter [g],
the Fusebox parts of XFB don't solve any problems that can't be solved other
ways, and from my perspective, there's less than zero "ease of development"
improvement. XFB is basically one really nifty idea (XFAs) surrounded by
some non-FB-specific prototyping tools and a series of codified stylistic
elements.

That doesn't mean you *shouldn't* use XFB, of course. Its style may be very
close to your own, for one thing... and if you plan any cross-platform
development, I think you'll find that XFB's nesting method will travel
better to environments that don't have some of CF's unique features.

So just relax. [g]
