Ok, thanks for that, I will pop over to halhelms.com.

Hi again, Andy. What you've described sounds similar to the way I
handle permissions, based on work Hal Helms published some time ago.
You might want to drop by halhelms.com and check his Writings page--I
think the relevant material is there. If not, drop Hal line
([EMAIL PROTECTED]); I'm sure he'd be willing to give you the lowdown.

Security is not part of Fusebox per se, as there are many possible
permutations based on local requirements.

Hi guy's, thought it time to move off of the newbie thread and start another
one. Access restriction & security is a big part of my application. I need to
have total granular control over every page that a user can access. At the
moment I achieve this by means of an administration area that lists all of my
applications key circuits and all of the applicable fuses within that circuit.
This then gives me the option of 'switching' on or off either a complete
circuit or individual parts of that circuit simply by
assigning a value for each item per user. When a user then logs into my site I
load all of this access data into a session structure and then for each page
request I have to check the session structure for the relevant key, check the
assigned value and either deny or allow access to that particular circuit or
page. Now this currently works fine and does not appear to add any considerable
overhead to processing. My question is whether there is a better way to achieve
this in Fusebox4.1 opr if not what wou
ld be the best way to implement my current process into the fusebox structure?
