The machine I'm using now has 256 Megs of RAM and it's a dual 500Mhz
machine. I'm stuck using this box right now so I'm afraid if I start
using session variables the memory will get eaten up and I'll lose
significant performance.

On another note, I just hunted down an article that you helped edit I
guess that explains the CFC state/initialize situation I was inquiring
about pretty well.

It's a great help to anyone starting out with CFC's.

Also, I was thinking about attending CFUNITED in the DC area this summer
(in which case I'll buy you guys a beer or five!) but was hesitant to
because of what seems to be a lack of CFC sessions in the topics area.
I was delighted to see numerous topics on Fusebox, FLIP and design
patterns in general though. Your thoughts? Should I wait until the
"official" CF conference by Macromedia?

Thanks to Jason Cronk and Sean Corfield for the help!
