Yes, that did it !! That's so cool !! (I didn't even know you could embed 
conditionals within hrefs/src's. I told you I was real green). Man, this web 
design thing is almost limitless as far a how creative one can get. While 
researching a fix to my "problem" (and before your slam-dunk solution), I came 
across a way to employ css/html combo for navbar design, such as....

css section:
#nav a:hover { 
color:#fff; 
background:#727454; 
}

html section:
<ul id="nav"> 
<li id="nav-home"><a href="nav-home.htm">Home</a></li> 
<li id="nav-about"><a href="nav-about.htm">About</a></li> 

Not sure if/how this will work with FB/CF duo, but I've really gotta try it 
soon.
